12/07/23 Safer Sex, Attachment, Collaborating w Matchmakers
Safer Sex: STIs and Protection. Katherine Yeagel
As hands-on sexual practitioners, our clients look to us as experts on sex and sexual health-- but most sexual healing trainings offer surprisingly little sex education knowledge. And most reliable sexual health information websites (like the CDC) talk about risks exclusively in terms of worst case scenario. After being asked by clients too many sexual health questions I didn't know the answers to and feeling frustrated with the lack of easily accessible harm reduction information, I decided to become a certified sex educator. I condensed what I learned from the San Francisco Sex Information training and my own research into this presentation, designed to equip clients with the essential information they need to make the healthiest choices for themselves.

Collaborating with Matchmakers, Michal Naisteter
Sometimes, an essential part of the matchmaking process is to help clients develop better relationship and intimacy skills. Michal is a matchmaker who has referred clients to Surrogate Partner Therapy for this purpose. The combination of Matchmaking and SPT seems like “a match made in heaven,” and Michal has a proposal for us.
This session will go from 3:30 to 6:10 Pacific time, which includes 2.5 hours and allows for a 10-minute break somewhere in the middle, at a time that is appropriate for the material.
