Surrogate Partner Collective

Where relational skills are practiced, not just discussed.

We train and support surrogate partners and collaborating therapists in offering Surrogate Partner Therapy (SPT), an experiential approach to building intimacy, communication, and relational capacity.

At the Surrogate Partner Collective, we focus on helping people develop the skills needed for intimacy, communication, and healthy relationships. Through Surrogate Partner Therapy, clients engage in a structured, collaborative process with both a therapist and a trained surrogate partner, creating opportunities to practice new ways of relating in real time. This experiential approach allows insight to become lived experience, supporting meaningful and lasting change.

Surrogate Partner Therapy is designed to support growth in areas such as communication, consent, boundaries, touch, and emotional and physical intimacy. Clients work within a structured process that includes both a therapist and a trained surrogate partner, allowing for real-time relational experience with professional support throughout. This collaborative model makes it possible to engage in meaningful work around intimacy and relationships while maintaining clear roles, safeguards, and client protections.

Who We Are

The Surrogate Partner Collective is a network of trained surrogate partners and collaborating clinicians. We provide education, professional training, certification, and outreach to support the ethical practice and broader understanding of Surrogate Partner Therapy (SPT).

Our work is focused on strengthening the field by setting clear standards, supporting practitioners, and increasing access to this structured, experiential approach to intimacy and relational growth. We are committed to maintaining a professional, inclusive community that is responsive to diverse client needs and identities.

What We Do

The Surrogate Partner Collective works to expand access to Surrogate Partner Therapy and to support the development of the field. Through this work, we aim to make a structured, experiential approach to intimacy and relational growth more widely understood, accessible, and responsibly practiced.
